Honor Moon began with an eye-opening documentary called "Period. End of Sentence." The seven founders watched this and wondered: what do homeless people do when they are on their periods? Together they were determined to make a change. Honor Moon's grand opening was October 14th, 2021, and after that it grew...fast! On April 29th, 2022, they sent in their paperwork to become an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The seven girls, who started Honor Moon as freshmen, are unwavering in their dedication to end period poverty.
